John and I used to joke that if I sent a letter to him at John Yost Kentland Indiana it would get delivered.

When I was in college in Bloomington, IN, I sent a letter to J Yost 47951 and he got it.

This weekend we journey to the Oregon coast to bestow Yostie on the Pacific Ocean. Via kite and balloon.

While attending a bachelor/bachelorette party for my older son and his new partner and their closest friends at a beachside condo on the Oregon coast with hot tub and sustained kite flying winds.

I will serve Whiskey Sours with maraschino cherries, Ponka style in a short glass filled with ice.

We will dine on oysters and crab.

Tomorrow, I will shut down my computer and go meat world so that we can fly kites over the Pacific.

I was relieved to see that it is not just me who became a waist size 52 upon reaching age 60 after being rather slim for most of my life.

I will post here after we get back from the coast. This trip, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, will be the longest I have not been connected to the Internet in more than a year.
